About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shop Supervisor to join our team at Sue Ryder Paignton. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for leading a team of volunteers to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales in our shop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of volunteers to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Work with the local community to generate donated stock and drive sales
  • Recruit, train, and retain a volunteer team, providing leadership and guidance
  • Manage stock processes to ensure the shop is well-merchandised with fresh, seasonal stock
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Sue Ryder, supporting in-store campaigns and national fundraising initiatives

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need retail experience with excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, and good judgement. You will also need proven team leadership skills and the ability to help lead a large team of volunteers. You must enjoy engaging with people and have a good understanding of financial and IT administration.
