We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Psychiatrist to join our team at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Adult Mental Health Specialist to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will provide Medical Leadership to the inpatient MDT, working with a Specialty Doctor and Junior Doctors. They will be responsible for providing care to patients with moderate and severe mental health difficulties.
Main Responsibilities- Participate on the Consultant On Call rota, with additional remuneration paid
- Provide Medical Leadership to the inpatient MDT
- Work with a Specialty Doctor and Junior Doctors
- MBBS or equivalent
- Full GMC registration and Licence to Practise
- On GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months
- Section 12 approved or within 3 months
- AC status or within 3 months
The estimated salary for this role is £104,094 - £116,443 per annum, depending on experience. The position also offers excellent benefits, including relocation package available and study leave budget of £3000 over 3 years or up to £5000 over 3 years for newly qualified Consultants.
