Service Team Leader Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Service Team Leader to join a well-known automotive brand in Coventry, to drive customer satisfaction, increase profitable business volume, and enhance the company's profile in the industry.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Act as the primary point of contact for daily customer service concerns.
  2. Manage the onsite Service Team and 3rd party contractors on a daily basis.
  3. Ensure alignment with customer service protocols, including Prompt Service reports and calibration protocols.
  4. Maintain accurate records of all Service-related issues using the e-Case support system.
  5. Arrange for additional technical support via phone, email, or remote connections when required.
  6. Proactively plan service tasks for the long-term.
  7. Manage crisis situations effectively.
  8. Identify potential customer escalations and ensure Service Line Management is aware of the situation.
  9. Develop training strategies with the Service Delivery Manager to ensure the onsite Team is equipped to handle all eventualities.
  10. Manage Service Contracts, including monthly invoicing for resident emission and service engineers.
  11. Create and maintain sales orders in SAP to establish procedures and standards for all order types.

Required Skills and Experience:

  1. A background in Automotive and/or Electrical Engineering is essential, with a good understanding of engineering and technical principles.
  2. Proficiency in SAP and general IT literacy, with the ability to find information from various sources.
  3. Ability to motivate and coordinate Service Engineers to follow Service protocols.
  4. Basic understanding of financial controlling.
  5. Excellent phone manner and good interpersonal and communication skills.
  6. Full clean driving license.
