Electromagnetic Engineering Specialist

Techniche Global Ltd is seeking an experienced Electromagnetic Engineering Specialist to support a manufacturing company in appointing a long-term contract assignment at their Technical Research & Development facility in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Electrical & Electronic Test team in validating Whole Vehicle EMC tests, E&E Systems & Electronic parts EMC tests, and EMC Reg 10 tests.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams in the UK and Japan on recommendations, specifications, and design changes.
  • Conduct in-house testing at the Cranfield R&D center and oversee testing suppliers in the UK and Europe.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driver's license
  • Ability to travel freely in the UK and Europe without visa restrictions
  • Hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days in the office

What You'll Do:

  • Validate and test electrical and electronic systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement design changes
  • Conduct testing and analysis to identify and resolve electromagnetic compatibility issues
