Job Summary:

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Electrical and Mechanical Technician to join our team at NET Recruit. This role is perfect for a motivated technician looking to progress their career and gain valuable knowledge and experience in the manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing electrical and mechanical repairs and services to Controls platforms covering the product portfolio
  • Attending clients' sites to perform preventative maintenance and carry out commissioning on Controls equipment
  • Maintaining communications with customers and others in a professional manner, in both verbal and written forms
  • Consulting with technical or office-based personnel to achieve a clear understanding of specific job requirements
  • Liaising with business coordinators to ensure that all services under contract are completed within the correct timeframe
  • Communicating with customers to ensure that work conducted is with their approval
  • Requesting additional parts on time to enable a proper timely workflow, and minimise delays
  • Informing coordinators of any completed work or delay in works in a timely manner to enable the allocation of the next job avoiding any lost time

Requirements:
  • Considerable previous experience working as a technician within a HVAC business, handling elements of HVAC equipment, Heat Pumps and Chillers
  • A good working knowledge surrounding the sector, which can be applied to this role
  • A sound understanding of Controls protocols such as BACnet, Modbus or LON
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and written, and be computer/systems literate, mainly within Microsoft Office

What We Offer:
  • A starting salary, potentially in the region of £45,000, dependent on the level of previous experience and knowledge
