Job Description

Carbon60 is partnering with Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services to recruit a Trainee Build Technician for the Build department. The successful candidate will assist in the assembly, installation, and testing of landing gear components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical components and install hydraulic and electrical systems to aircraft undercarriages and associated hardware.
  • Manage consumable items and ensure the correct functioning of the quality infrastructure.
  • Inspect and duplicate inspect completed assemblies/sub-assemblies.
  • Perform duties in compliance with safety and environmental regulations and company procedures.
Requirements
  • Served an aircraft-related apprenticeship or equivalent with experience in a similar service industry.
  • Emphasis on those applicants with experience in an EASA/FAA approved organization.
  • Experience in assembly of components and extensive experience working in an airline/aerospace related environment.
  • Detailed knowledge of legislative and quality system requirements.
  • Good understanding of Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of company health and safety practices.

Double day shift Monday to Friday, one week of 6am to 2pm and one week of 2pm to 10pm shifts, alternating.

Salary from £25,627 (+shift pay).
