The Emerald Group is seeking an experienced Actuarial Director to join our team in London. This is a permanent role, offering a competitive salary of £120,000 - £150,000 per annum.

This is a key leadership position within our non-life insurance business, responsible for implementing actuarial/statistical techniques and analyses to inform strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of insurance products and industry trends, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.

The role involves assessing and prioritizing strategic initiative options, influencing senior leaders, and communicating project results to various stakeholders. You will also be responsible for managing a small team of individual contributors, acquiring and developing talent for the assigned unit, and ensuring effective execution of assigned strategic initiatives and projects.

A university degree in a STEM-related field and Associate Actuarial Credential are preferred qualifications. Strong PC skills (MS Office) and programming skills (e.g., SQL, SAS) are also essential. If you have a passion for analytics and risk management, we encourage you to apply.
