Job Overview

A full-time position, this teaching specialist will be responsible for developing and delivering tailored learning plans that cater to the diverse needs of students with SEND.

The ideal candidate will possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in Special Educational Needs or a related field, as well as a creative and flexible approach to teaching.

Key Responsibilities
  • Individualized Teaching: Develop and deliver personalized learning plans that meet the unique needs of each student with SEND.
  • Assessment and Monitoring: Regularly assess students' progress, adapting teaching methods and strategies as needed to support their ongoing development.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teaching assistants, other educators, and external professionals to provide holistic support for students.
  • Parental Engagement: Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on their child's progress and working together to address any challenges.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in Special Educational Needs or a related field.
  • A creative and flexible approach to teaching.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.

The estimated salary for this role is £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications. Axcis Education Recruitment offers temporary supply work, daily, short-term and long-term assignments, in addition to permanent positions.
