About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Main Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Support Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing care and support to residents in line with their individual care plans
  • Acting as a shift coordinator to ensure effective delegation of tasks and duties
  • Supporting residents with prescribed medication and administering it in accordance with policy guidance
  • Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Recording and escalating any concerns to your line manager or relevant healthcare professionals
