Job Title: Social Worker - Lanarkshire Court Services

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Social Worker to join our team at South Lanarkshire Council. As a Social Worker, you will work across the three Sheriff Courts in Lanarkshire (Hamilton, Lanark, and Airdrie) and be responsible for completing assessment reports, including electronic monitoring bail assessments and bail supervision assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete assessment reports for electronic monitoring bail and bail supervision
  • Develop and implement risk assessments and formal court reports
  • Work collaboratively with the Sheriff Courts and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent
  • Registered with the SSSC
  • PVG clearance for regulated work with children and protected adults
  • NPV level 2 clearance
