Job Description

A Quality Manager / Quality Assurance Manager is required by a leading food manufacturer in Wells, Somerset. The successful candidate will ensure that all food products meet high quality standards and are safe for consumption.

Salary: Up to £45,000 + benefits package + bonus

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead quality assurance initiatives and oversee safety protocols
  2. Work closely with operations teams to guarantee exceptional product quality
  3. Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices
  4. Ensure operations adhere to standards and internal guidelines
  5. Update and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to be audit-ready

Ideal Candidate:

  • Excellent Quality Management skills
  • Experience in a Food or Drinks manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of BRCGS standard
  • Internal audit or lead auditor training
  • QMS Quality Management experience
