Senior Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our Forensic Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical services to children and young people who present a risk to themselves and others in the context of mental health difficulties.
Main Responsibilities:
- Contributing to the strategic and operational development of Forensic CAMHS locally and regionally.
- Consultation and training for clinicians within the organisation and with other stakeholders within the geographical patch.
- Direct clinical work with children, young people and their families.
- Access to bespoke training and supervision.
Requirements:
- Post-graduate doctoral level training in applied psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996 or outside the UK) as approved by the HPC, including specifically models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology.
- Professionally registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health Professions Council (HPC).
- Significant assessed experience of working as a qualified psychologist.
- Experience of working with a wide variety of client groups, across the whole life course and presenting with the full range of clinical severity across the full range of care settings.
