Logistics Manager

Join Nicholl Oil Group as a Logistics Manager and take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership and organizational skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the distribution department, ensuring efficient communication with sales teams, and maintaining high standards of safety and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage the distribution department, including domestic drivers and routing teams across 5 locations.
- Ensure the routing and scheduling of all vehicles in your area of responsibility, in compliance with drivers' hours regulations and working time directives.
- Monitor drivers' hours, breaks, tachographs, and ensure all necessary documentation and administration is maintained and completed on a daily basis.
- Manage annual leave and driver absence, and liaise with the HR department as needed.
- Investigate transport misdemeanors, such as RTAs, contamination, spillage, property damage, vehicle damage, and driver behavior, while ensuring completion of all relevant driver paperwork and outcomes.
- Previous experience working in a supervisory role within the transport sector.
- Thorough knowledge of transport regulations and compliance.
- Possession of a Category C + E license, ADR License, and CPC (desirable).
- Excellent geographic knowledge of Northern Ireland and familiarity with planning/scheduling systems (desirable).
Location: Head Office, Greysteel, with responsibility for 5 locations.
Hours: 7.30am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday, with Saturday overtime on a rota basis.
Salary: £35,000 per annum.
