Barking & Dagenham College is seeking a skilled Plumbing Lecturer to join our Apprenticeship team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to our students.

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans, incorporating industry developments and best practices.
• Assess and provide constructive feedback to students, ensuring they meet their full potential.
• Monitor student progress, attendance, and achievements, making adjustments as needed.
• Ensure a safe and healthy learning environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Provide pastoral support and coaching to students, fostering their personal and professional growth.
• Stay up-to-date with industry advancements, ensuring our students receive relevant and employable skills.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, enhancing your teaching and assessment skills.

• Hold a teaching qualification and experience in Further or Higher Education.
• Possess an assessor qualification and Internal Quality Assurance certification.
• Recent experience teaching Plumbing and Heating to learners from Entry Level to Level 3, with knowledge of Gas pathways.
• Excellent interpersonal and team development skills, with the ability to contribute to our team's goals.
