**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Tax Senior to join our team at Reed. As a Tax Senior, you will play a key role in managing a portfolio of self-assessment tax clients, providing advisory services, and supervising junior tax staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of self-assessment tax clients, including personal tax clients, partnerships, and trusts, to prepare their annual tax returns, manage budgets, and provide tax advice as required.
- Provide advisory services relating to Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, and Estate planning to clients.
- Prepare various tax forms, including P11ds, PSA, ATEDs, and elections for clients as needed.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and HMRC to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Supervise and mentor junior tax staff to ensure their professional growth and development.
Requirements:
- Qualified CTA or currently studying towards the CTA qualification (or equivalent).
- Strong technical knowledge and experience in both personal and corporate tax.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax matters clearly.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with changes in tax legislation.
