About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Graduate Reservoir Engineer to join our team at United Utilities. As a Graduate Reservoir Engineer, you will play a crucial role in securing efficient, reliable water resources for customers across the North West.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop your knowledge of reservoir construction, operation, maintenance, and management, as well as Health & Safety techniques and the regulatory environment.
  • Work both individually and as a member of a team, growing your working knowledge of managing interfaces with other disciplines, such as Geotechnical Civil, Hydraulics, Mechanical, Electrical, Construction, and Operation.
  • Gather and analyze data required for engineering design and asset maintenance.
  • Communicate complex concepts and ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
  • A minimum 2:1 Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical engineering, Geology, or a related topic.
  • Technical competence, with good planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Strong teamwork skills, with ambition and drive.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive starting salary of £30,000, 26 days of annual leave (increasing to 30 days after four years), plus bank holidays. Our benefits package includes private healthcare, discounted gym membership, flexible holidays, and an award-winning pension scheme.
