Job Title: Head of Financial Excellence

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced financial leader to join our team as Head of Financial Excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our financial strategy and improvement initiatives, driving financial excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of our financial strategy, ensuring alignment with our organizational goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the financial governance improvement program, ensuring effective monitoring and oversight of workstreams to deliver financial governance excellence.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify and prioritize financial improvement initiatives, ensuring effective resource allocation and project management.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our organizational goals, culture, and constraints, ensuring that our financial strategy and improvement initiatives are relevant and effective.
  • Lead the development and implementation of a benefits realization framework, ensuring that assigned workstreams implement this effectively.
  • Work with the Financial Improvement Lead and Director of Financial Planning, Strategy, and Investment to establish and maintain an effective risk and issue management strategy/framework.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team, ensuring that they have the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to deliver financial excellence.
  • Ensure that our financial reporting and communication are clear, concise, and effective, ensuring that stakeholders have the information they need to make informed decisions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in financial leadership and strategy development.
  • Strong understanding of financial governance and improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Ability to lead and manage a high-performing team, ensuring that they have the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to deliver financial excellence.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and develop effective solutions.
