Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team in Fife and Lothian. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with project leaders to ensure the delivery of high-quality services, provide guidance on contract conditions and commercial matters, and maintain precise financial control.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct monthly Cost Value Reconciliations to ensure accurate financial control.
- Maximise valuations, ensure timely certification and payment to maintain a healthy cash flow.
- Manage contract variations promptly to avoid delays and additional costs.
- Forecast costs and value of all trades to inform project decisions.
- Coordinate with the operational team to secure labour, materials, and subcontractors, ensuring timely and within-budget project completion.
- Monitor on-site progress and issue required notices according to contract procedures and timelines.
- Vet and ensure compliance of quotations with specifications, obtaining competitive bids.
- Prepare Final Accounts to ensure accurate financial records.
- Accurately manage subcontractor accounts to enhance contract efficiency.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of demonstrable Quantity Surveying experience within Civil Engineering Projects.
- Experience with NEC contracts is advantageous.
- Full UK driving license.
