We are seeking a highly skilled Production Engineer to join our Pipeline Group at Subsea7's Global Welding Development Centre (GWDC). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the development, management, and deployment of our pipeline production capability.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in and contribute to a positive HSEQ culture, ensuring familiarity with and adherence to local HSEQ codes and practices.
- Ensure company and subcontractor activities and equipment are readied to meet project mobilisation deadlines.
- Assist with and oversee the creation of onsite operational documentation, including Lift Plans and Fabrication Layout Plans.
- Maintain operational records and produce site activity reports for management and clients.
- Issue GWDC Weekly Production Report and close out reports.
- Attend internal and external meetings, including progress reviews.
- Record and issue meeting minutes, as required.
- Liaise with client and sub-contractor personnel as needed.
- Analyse and evaluate production progress, proactively developing solutions for any safety, quality, or technical issues.
- Contribute to tendering activities, reviewing forecast productivity, equipment, and personnel levels during bid.
- Role-relevant degree qualification or qualified by experience.
- Subsea, offshore, or engineering industry experience is preferred.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to maintain positive and collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical skills with the ability to work with detail and accuracy.
- Proactive planning and organising skills, with the ability to identify and effectively prioritise workload and meet multiple deadlines.
- Demonstrates initiative and ownership to work unsupervised, supporting wider team activities.
- Flexible to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced 24/7 global business.
- Proactive with a solutions-based approach, willing to challenge the status quo.
- Committed to continuous improvement, identifying and driving change opportunities.
- Proficient in the use of IT systems, including Microsoft Office.
