Job Overview

SOCOTEC UK Limited is a leading provider of environment and safety services across the UK, with 30 locations nationwide. We offer a comprehensive range of water hygiene, treatment, equipment, and consultancy services.

The successful candidate will cover an area across Scotland, Cumbria, and Tyneside, with interviews conducted out of our East Kilbride office.

We are seeking a skilled Environmental Field Specialist to join our team, covering various site-based monitoring tasks, including trade effluent sampling, water quality sampling, legionella compliance inspections, water tank disinfections, environmental compliance sampling, and environmental water sampling.

This entry-level position offers full training, with significant travelling, driving, and regular working away from home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver site-based monitoring tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Work on safety-critical client sites, adhering to strict protocols and procedures.
  • Assist with laboratory analysis as required.

Requirements:

  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to accurately follow procedures.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • The ability to work alone and as part of a team.
