Job Summary

As a Store Manager at WHSmith, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service and sales results. You will ensure that the store achieves its financial targets and adheres to brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the store achieves its financial targets and adheres to brand standards
• Lead and develop a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service and sales results
• Support and develop team members to ensure they feel valued, supported, and able to grow both personally and professionally
• Adhere to and ensure delivery of brand standards
• Drive consistent high-quality customer service and sales
• Lead shifts, including opening and closing the store

Requirements

• Proven track record in managing and leading teams in a high-volume, retail, or catering brand environment
• Previous experience motivating and increasing the performance of your team with mentoring, training, and succession planning
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
