Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CDM and H&S Consultant to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering CDM and H&S consultancy services to our clients from our Manchester office.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience within the Construction Industry, specifically around the CDM Regulations. You will be responsible for understanding the Clients' needs and proactively identifying solutions to their challenges, ensuring consistent delivery of service excellence in meeting their needs and expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver CDM and H&S consultancy services to existing and new clients
  • Understand and develop existing systems and processes to improve both CDM and H&S efficiency
  • Provide expert advice and act as Principal Designer, helping the client manage and understand their legal responsibilities, in accordance with CDM regulations
  • Establish positive relations with existing and new Clients to gain confidence and become a trusted advocate
  • Represent Turner & Townsend in a professional and diligent manner, including meeting, negotiating, and corresponding with Clients in a timely manner

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to effectively plan and organise own workload to meet deadlines
  • Good IT skills to generate reports and documents

  • Excellent Client empathy
  • Extensive knowledge and experience within the Construction Industry, specifically around the CDM Regulations

Education and Professional Qualifications

  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate
  • Full UK driving licence
  • NEBOSH Diploma Level (or equivalent)
  • GradIOSH or equivalent
  • Membership of the APS
