Experienced Tradesperson

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skill Trades Carpenter to join our Responsive Repairs team at Platform Property Care, a leading property maintenance business within the Platform Housing Group.

Key Responsibilities

• As a Multi-Skill Trades Carpenter, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of tasks, including carpentry, basic plumbing, plaster patching, decorating, and wall tiling.
• You will work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality work, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard and on time.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential, as you will be working directly with customers in their homes.
• You will be required to maintain accurate records and reports, and to contribute to the development of the team and the business.

Requirements

• NVQ L2 Carpentry or equivalent qualification
• Experience of working as a Carpenter in the building trade, either as a Carpenter or as a multi-skilled Carpenter
• Experience of working for a Social Landlord, housing association, or council
• Associated trade skills, such as basic plumbing, plaster patching, decorating, and wall tiling
• Experience of delivering multi-trade work
• Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently
• Full driving licence
• DBS check

This role is based in the Skegness and Horncastle area, and you will be required to live in this area.
