Supporting SEN Students in Liverpool

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in the heart of Liverpool. This is a long-term opportunity starting as soon as possible, working on a 1:1 basis with a child who requires support due to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
About the RoleAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for promoting inclusion and acceptance of all students, while supporting the pupil consistently on a 1:1 basis. Your individual needs will be met through tailored support, enabling them to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Deliver targeted catch-up sessions and small group work to support the pupil's academic progress
- Work closely with the teacher to develop and implement personalized plans to meet the pupil's needs
To be successful in this role, you must have recent and relevant experience working with children and young people with SEND. A passion for education and the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher are essential.
