Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Infection Prevention and Control Nurse to join our dynamic team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Infection Prevention Service, you will play a vital role in promoting a culture of safety and excellence in infection prevention and control.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective infection prevention and control strategies to minimize the risk of healthcare-associated infections.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify and address infection prevention and control gaps.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to staff on infection prevention and control best practices.
  • Conduct audits and investigations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to infection prevention and control.
