About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Specialist to join our team in providing community rehabilitation services. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with service users to regain their independence and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide practical hands-on support and verbal guidance to service users in regaining their ability to manage daily tasks safely and independently.
- To assist service users in developing their confidence and self-esteem through encouragement and positive reinforcement.
- To maintain accurate records and reports as required by the Reablement Service.
Requirements:
- A caring personality and attitude with excellent communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with other professionals.
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with vulnerable individuals.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of £23,000 - £24,000 per annum (pro rata).
- A comprehensive induction programme and ongoing training and development opportunities.
