The Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to take on the role of Shift Fitter at our Rhyl garage. You will report directly to the Engineering Manager and play a crucial role in maintaining our fleet of Public Service Vehicles (PSVs).

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform servicing and repairs in accordance with Arriva and DVSA standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in vehicle quality and safety.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections.
• Diagnose vehicle faults and ensure that maintenance meets Arriva's high standards.
• Work on a shift basis, covering 5 days out of 7, with shifts scheduled between 05:00 and 17:30.

Essential Qualifications:

• Recognized qualifications in PSV/HGV maintenance (e.g., Level 3 NVQ).
• Ability to work independently and adhere to established safety standards.
• Electrical knowledge is a plus, though not mandatory.
• A PCV license is advantageous but not required.
• Experience in vehicle inspections for scheduled maintenance is preferred; training can be provided.
