About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Wills and Probate Solicitor to join our team at Oculus Legal Group. As a key member of our Wills and Probate team, you will manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision, handling Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trust setup and administration, Court of Protection matters, and Estate Administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a diverse caseload, including Wills, Probate, and Trusts
  • Providing expert legal advice and ensuring clients are kept informed throughout the process
  • Ensuring all work meets Law Society file and case management quality standards
  • Assisting with promoting the department and engaging in marketing initiatives
  • Collaborating with colleagues and networking with key contacts and clients
  • Utilizing the firm's Case Management System accurately and diligently

Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor or Fellow of CILEx with at least 2 years' PQE in Wills and Probate. Applicants should have:

  • Experience in a busy Wills and Probate department
  • Strong client care and communication skills
  • The ability to manage a varied caseload independently
  • A target-driven, highly organized approach with attention to detail
