Restaurant General Leadership

Rotherwood seeks an accomplished Restaurant General Leadership expert to oversee daily operations, drive customer satisfaction, and achieve business success. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry and a proven track record of delivering exceptional results.

The key responsibilities include:
  • Overseeing daily operations to ensure efficient service delivery and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Managing staff rostering, holiday requests, and payroll tasks effectively.
  • Ensuring accurate financial tracking, including cash-ups, ledger reconciliation, and month-end reporting.
  • Maintaining operational knowledge of the EPOS system and making necessary updates.

Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management:
    • Overseeing daily operations to ensure seamless service and quality standards.
    • Managing staff rostering, holiday requests, and payroll tasks.
    • Ensuring accurate financial tracking, including cash-ups, ledger reconciliation, and month-end reporting.
    • Maintaining operational knowledge of the EPOS system and make necessary updates.
  • Customer Service:
    • Prioritising customer service and guest needs in decision-making.
    • Addressing and resolving complaints, escalating when necessary.
    • Ensuring the team proactively gathers and addresses allergy information.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Leading, motivating, and managing front-of-house and bar staff.
    • Conducting appraisals, managing performance, and handling staff absences.
    • Implementing and documenting training programs for all team members.
    • Delegating tasks based on business needs and staff capabilities.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
