Data Protection Engineer

**Job Description**
Salary: $130,000 - $190,000 per annum
As a Security Data Engineer at Electronic Arts (EA), you will play a critical role in protecting our gaming platform from cyber threats. You will work closely with our security team to design and implement data architectures that support our security information and event management (SIEM) system.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience with Splunk Enterprise Security and a strong understanding of cloud platforms. They will also possess excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify security anomalies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data architectures to support our SIEM system
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex data flows
- Develop optimized SPL code to improve system performance
- Collaborate with security analysts to understand their needs and build solutions to enhance their ability to find data and build security detections
Requirements:
- At least 5 years' experience in security data engineering
- Proficient in Splunk Enterprise Security
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms and data architectures
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Certifications in Splunk or other relevant security tools are a plus
