We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Sister/Charge Nurse to join our team at Ward 9 in Prince Philip Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing leadership and guidance to ensure the effective delivery of high standards of nursing care.
- Work alongside the nursing team members and Multi-Disciplinary Team to provide support to junior colleagues in the provision of direct care.
- Contribute to the implementation of the NMC Standards for education, including the standards for student supervision and assessment.
- Demonstrate the Health Board's values and beliefs in everything that you do within the work environment.
- Registered Nurse - Part 1
- Current NMC Registration
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
- Pertinent postgraduate diploma or equivalent development and, or experience and a willingness to undertake appropriate post graduate diploma level study
- Bronze IQT
- Teaching qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Recognised management qualification
- Experience of coordinating a team
- Experience of facilitating learning in and from practice
- Previous experience of leadership and management
Welsh Speaker (Level 1) is desirable for this post.
