Project Manager - Anaerobic Digestion & Biomethane

Lanesra Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join their team in the Anaerobic Digestion and Biomethane sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering multiple multi-year Contracts and Projects in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise construction sites at a project level, ensuring compliance with program, contract, cost, quality, and SHEQ requirements.
  • Ensure the Principal Contractor is proactively discharging their duties under the Construction Design & Management (CDM) regulations.
  • Drive a culture of zero accidents and zero defects to meet delivery milestones and provide the best service.
  • Ensure full H&S compliance, making sure the team feels safe every day and has the confidence to raise safety concerns.
  • Adopt cost-conscious management through efficient use of resources.
  • Prepare, review, and update realistic scheme programmes, ensuring all stakeholders complete work on schedule and in accordance with the programmes.
  • Chair and attend site coordination meetings with contractors to review compliance of mandatory and required documentation.
  • Manage collaborative planning meetings on site.
  • Represent the Project Engineer's interests on site, maintaining records of site progress, manpower, plant, and equipment to drive efficiencies and improvements.
Requirements:
  • Engineering, project delivery, and construction site experience preferably from energy from waste, anaerobic digestion, biogas, or water/waste treatment projects.
  • Supervisory/management experience in a construction environment.
  • Strong understanding of CDM Regulations.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Qualification in an engineering/construction discipline.
  • SMSTS/SSSTS/CSCS.
  • NEBOSH, IOSH.
  • Microsoft Project and collaborative planning tools.
