We are recruiting for a Test Technician Specialist to join our team at CK Group. This role is based at our client's site in Cambourne, Cambridgeshire.

Job Summary:

The Test Technician Specialist will contribute to the development of new and existing physical consumer products. These products are technology-focused, domestic products that monitor the wellbeing of companion animals in unobtrusive ways.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test products in our workshop and lab, creating test jigs, assembling prototypes (PCBs, sensors and mechanical assemblies), and reporting results.
  • Manage and maintain a broad range of modelmaking equipment, the latest measurement and mechanical test equipment, and prototype PCBA assembly equipment to deliver an efficient resource for product development.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a test or development technician for electro-mechanical products.
  • Working experience of physical consumer product development (e.g. modems, IT equipment, consumer electronics, industrial equipment).
