Highways and Infrastructure Project Manager

As a Section Engineer, you will be responsible for managing junior engineers and assisting the Sub Agent in construction operations. The successful candidate will have experience in utilities, earthworks, heavy structures, or drainage, with a strong understanding of site engineering activities and construction supervision skills.
The role involves reporting to the Sub Agent, supervising the site engineering team, and allocating labour, plant, and materials to carry out works activities to the required standards, programme, and budget. You will also be responsible for identifying and resolving technical problems on site, monitoring and coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring that the team has all current information and resources required to carry out their duties.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
- HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent and working towards institute membership (ICE)
- Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills.
- Experience in utilities, earthworks, heavy structures or drainage is essential for this role
- Mandatory CSCS Requirement (one of the following) - Black, White, White/Yellow, Yellow or Red Experienced
- Mandatory SMSTS or SSSTS
- Full UK Driving License is required
