Key Responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for various key roles, including:

  • Carrying out outpatient and in-patient EMG, EEG, and video-telemetry reporting.
  • Contributing to education of undergraduates and postgraduates, including supervision of CCT trainees in Neurophysiology.
  • Participating in professional training of staff in the department, including undergraduate training and supervision of junior medical staff.

The post holder will also be expected to work collaboratively with existing consultants and the multi-disciplinary team to provide a high-quality, well-led service for patients at Ashford & St Peters.

In terms of required qualifications, the ideal candidate should have all essential qualifications to support this role. Desired qualifications that exceed the requirement are also welcome.

This is a permanent full-time position, estimated to be around £95,000 - £115,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include participating in the professional training of staff, contributing to education of undergraduates and postgraduates, and working in a cohesive team environment.
