Job Title: Head of Commercial Finance

Based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced commercial finance professional to join their team as Head of Commercial Finance. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant to take ownership of providing clarity on the profitability of the business to non-finance managers and directors.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the financial planning and analysis team and BI Developer, driving product and customer profitability analysis for directors and key managers, and ensuring the monthly management accounts are prepared by the management accountant on a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the financial planning and analysis team and BI Developer
  • Drive product and customer profitability analysis for directors and key managers
  • Ensure the monthly management accounts are prepared by the management accountant on a timely manner
  • Conduct company budget meetings in advance to release the annual budgets to stakeholders
  • Ensure monthly updates on the company three-year forecast model are carried out
  • Provide analysis on cost vs budgets to create a thorough understanding by non-finance managers and directors
