Job Title: Technical Director, Program Delivery

Operation Technical Limited is seeking a highly experienced Technical Director, Program Delivery to oversee the successful delivery of technical products and services to one of our core clients.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 16+ years of experience managing IT program delivery for large FMCG or Food & Beverages companies, with experience in large scale SAP transformations to S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Align project managers to ensure planning and scheduling of the delivery process, including defining project scope, milestones, and timelines.
  • Manage the budget and resources of the delivery, including aligning project managers to allocate tasks to team members and ensuring that the project stays on track.
  • Identify and manage risks to the delivery, including developing contingency plans to mitigate potential issues at the account level.
  • Communicate with senior client stakeholders, internal stakeholders to ensure that everyone is informed about the progress of the delivery and health of the account.
  • Track progress on various projects under delivery and adjusting as needed to keep the delivery on track.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to ensure that they have the skills and support they need to complete their tasks.
  • Create a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within their teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to senior CxO level client stakeholders.
  • Partner with client partners in identifying and strategizing growth opportunities in the accounts.
Requirements
  • 16+ years of experience managing IT program delivery for large FMCG or Food & Beverages companies.
  • Experience in large scale SAP transformations to S/4HANA.
  • Experience of complex landscapes with multiple skills (if not all) of the following solutions: Salesforce, SuccessFactors, SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP PI/PO or SAP CPI, SAP BTP, Software AG webMethods.
  • Experience in both solution delivery (projects) and service delivery (application support).
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes.
  • Experience in agile delivery.
