About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced trainer to join our team in North Oxfordshire.

As an Equipment Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering on-site training and demonstrations of construction safety equipment to site operatives and key workers across the UK.

The company offers a comprehensive range of working at height and platform solutions, which are widely used by various industries, including House Building, Construction, Utilities, and Solar Installation.

Your primary duty will be to deliver high-quality training sessions, ensuring that all personnel are equipped with the necessary skills to safely install and deploy the systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for site operatives and key workers.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal sales staff to identify opportunities to provide additional products at the point of training.
  • Support the Recertification Team with the repair and recertification of equipment and systems already on site.
  • Assist the Warehouse Team with product repairs and assembly.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven manual handling and practical skills for physical installation of products.
  • Ability to work at height.
  • Prior experience with basic hand tools and power drills.
  • Daily driving is required, with occasional prearranged stopovers. A van is provided for use with the role, and a clean driving license is essential.
  • Desirable: previous experience in the House Building and/or Construction sectors.

Package:

A competitive salary of £38,000-£48,000 per annum, plus bonus and company vehicle, is on offer.
