Job Title: Advanced Physiotherapist in Neurorehabilitation

MediTalent is seeking an experienced Advanced Physiotherapist to join our team in a leading private healthcare provider. As a Specialist Physiotherapist for Neurological Conditions, you will be a key member of a multidisciplinary team in a 42-bed, Level 2 neurorehabilitation centre.

About the Role:

You will work alongside top experts in the field, collaborating with Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, and other professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring patient safety and protecting their human rights
  • Delivering high-quality physiotherapy services as part of the multidisciplinary team
  • Performing specialist assessments of complex neurological patients
  • Developing individualised treatment plans and goals
  • Prescribing and managing 24-hour postural programs, including specialist seating, positioning, and splints
  • Assessing and managing increased tone/spasticity
  • Supervising therapy assistants and student physiotherapists
  • Educating and supporting relatives and MDT colleagues
  • Actively participating and providing feedback in MDT meetings
  • Preparing comprehensive and detailed review reports for patients, commissioners, and families
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Physiotherapy
  • A commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in neurological physiotherapy
  • Clinical experience with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Stroke, PDOC patients, Neurogenerative and spinal cord patients
