Learning Support Assistant Position Overview

Ribbons & Reeves, a leading education recruiter, is partnering with a great school in Barking to find a qualified Learning Support Assistant to work with learners who require additional support.

The Role:

  1. Provide individual support to pupils with additional learning needs.
  2. Help students adjust to their new settings and recognize signs of distress to develop their self-esteem.
  3. Establish and promote supportive relationships with students through acting as a role model and being aware of individual needs.

Requirements:

  • Ideal experience working with children/young people who have SEND.
  • A desire to learn and a passion for working with children with additional needs.
  • An undergraduate degree from a Top 30 UK University.
  • A caring, compassionate, and child-centred approach.

Benefits:

  • Earn up to £105 per day paid via PAYE on a weekly basis.
  • Working hours of between 8:30-16:00, Monday-Friday.
