Job Description:

We are seeking a confident and hardworking individual to fill the Behaviour Support Assistant role at a fantastic Secondary School in Hackney. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will work through KS3, KS4, and KS5, providing support in and out of the classroom to children of all ages and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to teachers and pupils
  • Lead 1:1 and small group sessions dedicated to assisting children with SEN/SEMH needs
  • Uphold the school's core values

Requirements:

  • A graduate with strong academics, including a 1st Class degree or 2:1
  • Experience working with young people in a school-based environment
  • A good understanding and experience of SEN/SEMH needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

What We Offer:

  • A competitive daily rate of £105 - £110
  • A full-time, long-term role with a term-time only schedule
