About the Role

As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering technically complex process engineering designs within proposals, studies, and projects execution & operations.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of process design methods & tools, with experience in leading teams of 3-5 Process Engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analysing project specifications, tender, and proposals requirements
  • Technology evaluation, selection, and economic assessment
  • Process configuration and optimization studies
  • Contributing to the development of design parameters and methodologies
  • Preparing technically correct, safe, environmentally friendly, cost, and time-effective discipline engineering analysis and solutions for approval

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Requirements
  • BSc or MSc in Chemical Engineering with a wide-ranging background in Gas/Liquids Cracking Technology
  • Theoretical understanding of process design methods & tools
  • Considerable knowledge in Oil & Gas Processing, Refining, and/or Ethylene/Petrochemicals, preferably with an engineering contractor
  • Experience of leading teams of 3-5 Process Engineers
  • Technology Awareness of Ethylene, Petrochemicals, Refining, Offsites & Utilities

A competitive salary of £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience, is offered for this role, based on industry standards and locations in Milton Keynes.
