The Role

We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to join our team in Wellingborough. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the store, including sales, customer service, and team management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the store's daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock management, and customer service.
  • Lead and motivate a team of retail staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales, customer satisfaction, and team performance.
  • Monitor and control store expenses, including inventory, labor, and overhead costs.
  • Collaborate with the Area Manager to achieve business objectives and implement company initiatives.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar retail leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and implement strategies to improve performance.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, inventory control, and labor scheduling.
