Senior Commercial Heat Network Engineer Role

Located in London and the surrounding areas, our client is a well-established Mechanical/Energy engineering company with over 70 staff members. As a Senior Commercial Heat Network Engineer, you will play a vital support role in the installation, maintenance, and effective operation of heat network equipment across their client portfolio.

This position involves supporting the development and growth of a team of Commercial Heat Network Engineers, working closely with the Head of Maintenance to provide technical assistance. You will be an integral part of the Maintenance team and Client Services, ensuring exceptional customer service and quality while contributing to the company's ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the installation, maintenance, and effective operation of heat network equipment (Boilers, Chillers, Fan coil units, HIU's, Valves)
  • Developing and growing a team of Commercial Heat Network Engineers, providing technical support and guidance
  • Working closely with the Head of Maintenance to ensure seamless delivery of services
Requirements:
  1. Valid Commercial & Domestic Gas Qualifications - COCN1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1/1A, CCN1, WAT1, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1 (Minimum six months remaining prior to renewal of certification, preferred)
  2. Experience and knowledge of heating control systems
  3. Previous experience in a service and maintenance environment
  4. Experience of writing reports and completing job cards to a high standard
  5. Experience of building services engineering within district and community heating, or large scale plant rooms/energy centres
  6. Understanding of communal/district heating schemes
Salary and Benefits:
  • £55,000 to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
