Key Responsibilities

As a Transport & Balancing Operator, you will play a crucial role in understanding and reducing costs associated with imbalance and transportation. You will work closely with the Logistics team to identify any issues causing profit leakage and develop strategies to mitigate risks and identify opportunities to add value.

Key Requirements
  • Strong data skills to understand and review nominations allocation and imbalance positions
  • Ability to work collaboratively across Portfolio Management, Sales, Risk, and Finance teams
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a dedication to quantitative rigour
  • Experience in the natural gas, power, and emissions market
  • Understanding of market regulation and compliance (desirable)
  • Fluency in English with another foreign language (desirable)
  • Coding skills in Python (desirable)
  • Proficiency in visual tools (Power BI / Tableau) (desirable)
