Pharmacy Assistant Opportunity at Paydens Group of Pharmacies

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to enrich our team as a Pharmacy Assistant. This role is instrumental in supporting our pharmacy operations and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the dispensing of medications under the supervision of a pharmacist, maintaining meticulous accuracy and adherence to legal requirements.
  • Offer outstanding customer service, ensuring all patients feel heard, supported, and valued.
  • Contribute to the pharmacy team by maintaining an organized and efficient workflow.
  • Manage inventory by organizing, stocking, and ensuring the integrity of pharmaceuticals.
  • Utilize computer systems for processing prescriptions, managing stock levels, and handling customer queries.
  • Maintain a spotless and orderly pharmacy environment.

Requirements:

  • A foundation of pharmacy knowledge, with a preference for those holding an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, displaying warmth, empathy, and patience.
  • A keen eye for detail, ensuring the accuracy and safety of all pharmacy operations.
  • Strong teamwork capabilities, thriving in a collaborative work setting.
  • Computer literacy, comfortable with learning and utilizing various pharmacy software systems.
  • Outstanding communication traits, ability to problem-solve, and the initiative to adapt quickly in a bustling environment.

Working Hours and Benefits:

This role offers a schedule designed to promote work-life balance, with hours of Monday to Friday 8:45am-5:30pm and alternate Saturdays 9am-1pm.
