We are seeking a skilled CNC Grinder to join our team at Omega Resource Group in Staverton. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex grinding equipment, ensuring the highest level of precision and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting and operating cylindrical and surface grinders, as well as other equipment within our busy Grinding department.
• Programming and setting experience with Studer (Fanuc) / Jones & Shipman is an advantage.
• Manual Cylindrical and Surface Grinding including internal and external grinding.
• A good understanding of engineering drawings is essential.
• Ability to work with tight tolerances and use various types of measuring equipment.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve production goals.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in setting and operating CNC and manual grinding machines.
• Ability to self-inspect parts and identify areas for improvement.
• Knowledge of grinding complex parts to tight tolerances.
• Able to use various types of measuring equipment.
• High level of attention to detail and ability to work independently.

About the Role
