Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at GBS Global Applied Knowledge. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for staff, students, and visitors on campus.

Main Responsibilities
  • Monitor and control access to campus buildings and facilities, ensuring that only authorized personnel have access.
  • Respond to security incidents and emergencies, providing a prompt and effective response to ensure the safety of all individuals on campus.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the campus, identifying and addressing any potential security risks or concerns.
  • Provide excellent customer service to staff, students, and visitors, responding to queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure a cohesive and effective security strategy is in place.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
  • Proven experience in a security or related role, with a strong understanding of security protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively, with a strong attention to detail.
  • DBS clearance and SIA door supervisor license required.
