Are you a seasoned engineering professional looking to take on a leadership role in a dynamic and innovative company? We're seeking a Project Engineering Manager to join our team at Leap29, where you'll have the opportunity to lead cutting-edge energy projects and make a lasting impact.
About the RoleAs a Project Engineering Manager, you'll be responsible for managing and coordinating engineering deliverables for high-profile FEED projects valued up to £6 million. You'll work closely with our team to ensure successful project delivery, from proposal handover to project completion.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the interface between multiple disciplines, engineering centres, project controls, procurement teams, and external contractors/suppliers.
- Ensure engineering designs are consistent across the board and delivered on time and within budget, with minimal supervision.
- Support project progress, reporting, and manage accountability alongside the Project Manager.
- Play a key role in bid preparation, writing proposals, and assisting in project execution plans to win and deliver new projects.
- Oversee Engineering Design Reviews, ensuring all actions are closed out effectively.
- Assist in strategic procurement planning, particularly for long-lead items.
- Support and lead projects through FEED, detailed design, and EPC phases.
We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced engineering professional with a Master's degree in engineering and Chartered status. You'll have a solid understanding of engineering disciplines, safety and quality procedures, and international equipment specifications and codes. Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills are essential, as well as the ability to lead teams and collaborate with global stakeholders.
