About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join our team of experienced educators. As an RE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and thoughtful lessons that encourage students to explore a wide range of religious beliefs and ethical questions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality RE lessons that cover a diverse range of religious beliefs and philosophical ideas.
  • Encourage students to engage in discussions on moral, ethical, and cultural issues.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to aid development.
  • Create a classroom environment that is inclusive, respectful, and supportive of all students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the curriculum is engaging and relevant to students' lives.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential, with a specialism in Religious Education or a related field.
  • Experience teaching RE at the secondary level is required.
  • A valid DBS check on the update service is required or a willingness to obtain one before starting.
